Ill Crew University:: BECOME A HIP-HOP CULTURE PRESERVATIONIST
Do you love Hip-Hop? Do you know a lot about Hip-Hop? ARE you Hip-Hop? Do you have a computer? Do you have internet access? Do you know how to use search engines? Would you be willing to volunteer a part of your time to preserve the history and legacy of Hip-Hop Culture for future generations? If you answered YES to all these questions, then Ill Crew University needs your help!
Our goal is to compile the world's largest and most comprehensive online Hip-Hop database as a free and reliable resource to all. However, this goal cannot be achieved without the help of serious, educated and motivated Hip-Hop heads worldwide to populate our database with much needed content. The validity and integrity of the content catalogued into our database is determined by the participation of those who wish to volunteer their support in preserving Hip-Hop Culture.
Your title will be that of a Hip-Hop Culture Preservationist. Your mission will be to search for and catalog the biographies, histories and points-of view of Hip-Hop's most inspiring, influential, and controversial individuals, organizations, groups and historic events. Your mission will include searching the web for Hip-Hop artists' official websites for their bios and other information you believe should be preserved in our database. Your mission will include discovering local underground artists in your area, documenting their story to add to our database. And your mission will include searching for the published opinions, statements and points-of-view of Hip-Hop's most influential and controversial intellectuals, philosophers, activists and revolutionary voices.
As a Hip-Hop Culture Preservationist, the only limits you have are the limits you put upon yourself. You may dedicate your search locally, or you can search worldwide for artists via the web. Since Hip-Hop has reached all corners of the world, it is of particular importance for us to catalog the biographies and points-of-view of Hip-Hop artists, organizations and groups from other parts of the globe. It doesn't matter what language they speak. It doesn't matter what language you speak. What matters is the preservation of Hip-Hop Culture worldwide for Hip-Hop's future generations. What matters is your contribution to the cause, for you ARE Hip-Hop.
By participating in our Hip-Hop Preservation Project, you may qualify to have YOUR own biography archived within the pages of the Hip-Hop Encyclopedia as a universally recognized Hip-Hop Culture Preservationist! You will then secure for yourself a permanent chapter in Hip-Hop history for future generations to research, study and know.
