aka: N/A
(??? - Present)
Official Biography:
Performing since the age of 8 years old, and socially and politically active since the age of ten, Shamako Noble has worked in a range of industry capacities including as a writer for Zero Magazine, a Promotions Director for KSCU to an administrative rep for Bay Area label Get Paid Entertainment. With the encouragement and direction of Reali Robinson, Shamako got involved with Hip-Hop Congress and today is considered one of it's co-founders. Working with Bay Area diva Persia of the group "The Mama's," a promotions company called Blowin up Underground Productions. With over 9 years of industry experience and 14 years of community organizational experience, Shamako understands the value of hard work and the importance of building quality relationships in the industry and culture. For the past 5 years Shamako has worked closely with both high school and college organizations to bring quality Hip-Hop educational programming. In addition, Shamako is a an experienced battle emcee, competing in Street Rock and Urban Combat and was a victor at the first Battle Ave. in Oakland and Santa Clara Universities Hip-Hop Night which ultimately led to his radio show. His first offering, The Return of the Coming of the Aftermath, is by no means without it's flaws. It's clear that Shamako still has some growing to do, and such makes some judgment calls that will improve with experience. That being said, the fourteen song collection is a stunning first offering that gives the listener personal insight into Shamako's life, a look into life in the Bay Area, and humor, approach and skill level that's refreshing to many in these times. The exclusive pantheon of producers included in the project (name The Easy Bay Express's Rachel Swan is quoted as saying that Shamako, "Could go toe to toe" with many members of the Hieroglyphics. The San Jose Mercury News' Marian Lu is quoted as saying that album of San Jose's "Kevin Bacon (six degrees or fewer in South Bay Hip-Hop)" is "long anticipated" by many members of the community. The Album, which ranges from such ironic tracks like "Don't Take My Advice," to the club rocking "Raw, Wicked" to the lyrically imaginative time adventure, "The Quest" is a exciting adventure that reminds you to enjoy life, fine lyrics, and the balance of life. www.studio1691.com and www.75ark.com are currently distributing this project for Second Arrow Productions. The Return of the Coming of the Aftermath is a powerful new offering from a talented new artist who will clearly be contributing to Hip-Hop on may levels for years to come.
